According to the Journey of Love festival’s communications department a total number of 777 entries from 83 countries have been registered in the festival. This includes 354 short and feature films, 180 documentaries, 88 animations, 103 video clips, 44 screenplays and 80 photographs.
The countries participating in the festival include Austria, Jordan, Armenia, Spain, Australia, Slovakia, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Ecuador, Algeria, Indonesia, United Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy, Ireland, Azerbaijan, Argentina, South Africa, Germany, Bahrain, Brazil, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Bosnia, Paraguay, Pakistan, Panama, Portugal, Tajikistan, Thailand, Taiwan, Turkey, Tunisia, Iran, Syria, Korea, China, Denmark, Ruanda, Romania, Japan, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Switzerland, Sweden, Serbia, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the Russian Federation, France, Palestine, Philippine, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Costa Rika, Cambodia, Cameron, Canada, Colombia, Kenya, Georgia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Poland, Malaysia, Hungary, Morocco, Egypt, Mongolia, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Norway, the Netherlands, India and Greece.
Registered entries are currently being processed by the festival committee and approved entries for competition will be announced over the next few days.

The first international festival of the Journey of Love will be held from October 23 to October 27, 2017 in the holy cities of Mashhad and Karbala.
